- Prepare 200 gms of Green moong dal with chilka.
- You need 1 of garlic paste.

- It's As required of coriander leaves finely chopped.
- Prepare 1 pinch of asafoetida.
- It's 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala powder.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- Prepare As required of Oil for greasing.

- Soak green moong dal over night or alt least for four hours..
- Grind it to make a thick paste..
- Add all other ingredients to it, put a nonstick pan on flame, grease it with oil and spread one service spoon of paste in round shape..
- Cook it and then turn it on other side..
- Serve it hot with green chutney and tomato sauce..
