- Wash moong dal and chana dal well and soak them for 1-2 hours..
- Then drain off the water. Add chopped ginger, green chilli and cumin seeds..
- Grind all these to a smooth batter (like dosa batter) by adding water as needed. Transfer it to a bowl..
- Add salt to taste and mix well..
- Heat a nonstick tawa over a medium flame. Pour a ladleful of batter in the centre of the tawa and quickly spread it into a thin circle by rotating back side of the ladle in spiral motion..
- Sprinkle few chopped onions and coriander leaves over it and gently press them using spatula..
- Drizzle 1 tsp oil around the edge. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until the bottom surface turns light golden brown & crisp and top surface looks cooked. Then gently half fold and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute by flipping 1-2 times..
- Once done, remove it to a plate..
- Repeat making similar dosas with rest of the batter..
