Ingredients of Moong dal kichidi
- You need 1 cup of rice.
- You need 1/2 cup of moong dal.
- Prepare Handful of curry leaves.
- Prepare Handful of coriander leaves.
- It's 1 of onion.
- You need 1 of carrot.
- You need 2 of Green chilli.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- Prepare Pinch of turmeric powder.
- You need 1/4 tablespoon of chilli powder.
- It's 1/2 tablespoon of coriander powder.
- It's 1/2 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste.
- It's 3 glasses of water.

Moong dal kichidi step by step
- Soak moong dal and rice for 1 hour..
- Take a pan and keep it on the stove. Once the pan heats pour oil, add oil, once the oil heats add mustard and cumin seeds. Once it starts crackle add onions, add onions, curry leaves, green chilli, add salt, turmeric, mix it well, add ginger garlic paste, mix it well..
- Once the onion becomes brown add carrot, mix it well, keep the stove in low flame, close it with a lid and mix in between. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, mix it, add soaked rice and moong dal into it..
- Mix it well, add water into it. Pressure Cook for 3 whistles. Once the pressure is completely gone, remove the cooker..
- Garnish it with coriander leaves..
- Take it into a plate and serve hot with dal/sambar/curd..
