  12. It's 2 tbsp of coconut pieces.
  13. Prepare As needed of oil for deep frying.

  6. Take little oil in a pan, when it's hot add mastard seeds, black gram1tsp, curry leaves, chopped green chillies, chopped ginger.. add this to dahi(curd)mix well..
  7. Pour this dahi(curd) on top of the vadas, keep it in the fridge for an hour..
  8. Take out garnish with some chilli powder, boondis, or according to your taste..your super yummy dahi(curd)vadas are ready to serve....

I tried dahi vada, but it turned out bland because there was no saltin the vada only in yogurt.
