Dahi Bhalla/ Dahi vada instructions
- Take the soaked and drained cup of urad dal grind it to a smooth batter,(not very fine)add a little bit salt and pinch of soda (optional)..
- Beat it nicely for 7-10 mins till it's light and fluffy..
- Take a kadahi, heat oil and deep fry the bhalla light golden brown & crisp on low to medium flame..
- Take a large bowl add 4-5 big cups of lukewarm water and put a pinch of hing and salt. Mix it,then put the fried bhalla in the lukewarm water and keep it in water for 1 hour..
- Then take the thick yoghurt beat nicely and put 2-3 tsp powdered sugar mix and chilled it. Now in a Serving bowl take the bhalla squeeze it then put the thick curd,spread sweet chutney, sprinkle jeera powder and red chilli powder,and sprinkle a little bit of black salt & chat masala.
- Garnish with pomegranate seeds and chopped coriander leaves.Serve and enjoy..
