How to Prepare Tasty Odiya dahi vada

Odiya dahi vada. Dahibara odiya style is made with thin curd base and a tempering which makes it even more tangy n mouthwatering. It is a famous mouth leaking streetfood. Usually dahi bara never gets soft after lots of trying but in this video we going to make you learn on how to make it soft as one eats at the restaurant !

It is prepared by soaking vadas (fried flour balls) in thick dahi (yogurt). Dahi vada is also known as "dahi vade" (दही वडे) in Marathi, dahi vada (दही वड़ा) in Hindi, "dahi bhalla" in Punjabi. Ingredients of Odiya dahi vada

  1. Prepare 2 cups of urad daal.
  2. You need 1 cup of rice.
  3. You need as required of salt.
  4. It's 2 cups of curd.
  5. You need 4 of whole red chillies.
  6. It's 2 tsp of mustard seeds.
  7. It's 2 tsp of oil+ for frying.

Odiya dahi vada instructions

  1. Soak daal and rice and grind together,make a lump free batter..
  2. Now make vada in oil,you can make with your palm also,grease palm by water,place batter make a dent by thumb and slightly drop in oil and fry until brown,keep all in lukewarm water..
  3. Now beat curd add 1/2 cup water..
  4. Heat oil add mustard seeds and red chilli,pour on curd..
  5. Now place vada in curd by squeezing them and serve..
