- You need 1 cup of urad dal.
- Prepare 2 of green chilli.
- Prepare 1/2 inch of ginger.
- Prepare 1 tsp of cumin-fenugreek powder.
- It's 1 pinch of asafoetida.
- Prepare 1 tsp of salt as per taste.
- It's 11/2 cup of mashed dahi.
- You need 1 tsp of Chaat masala.
- It's 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- It's 1 tsp of roasted cumin powder.
- It's 2 tsp of tamarind chutney (prepared prehand).
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Coriander leaves.
- Prepare of Oil for frying.

Dahi vada step by step
- Wash and rinse urad daal for 3-4times.
- Soak it in water for 4-5 hours.
- Drain and add urad Dall in a grinder.
- Add chopped green chilli ginger cumin seeds and asafoetida..
