- Prepare of Meethi 1 bunch wash and cutting.
- Prepare of ALOO 4 big size cubs cut.
- You need of Onion 1 big chopped.
- It's of Garlic covle 5_7 chopped.
- Prepare of Salt as your require.
- You need of Tomatoes 3 chopped.
- It's 1/2 tsp of Haldi powder.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Coriander powder.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of Red chilli powder.
- It's 1 tsp of Black pepper.
- You need 1 tsp of Zeera powder.
- You need 1/2 cup of Oil.
This aloo methi recipe has a lot of flavor and bitterness of methi (fenugreek) leaves combined with the earthy flavor and taste of potatoes. It is less spiced and a dry vegetable sabzi. Aloo Methi is a dry curry made with potatoes & fenugreek leaves. It is flavored with mild Indian spices.

- Sab se phely pan me oil dal kar onion and garlic half sauth karein phir is me haldi powder dalen aur bhoon Lein..
- Phir ALOO aur tomater add kar ke 4se 5 minutes bhoon kar is me red chilli powder, black pepper, zeera powder, salt dal kar 1/2cup pani dal kar masala bhoona lein aur methi dal kar dum per pakein 12 se 15 minutes jab aloo gal Jay to flame high Kar ke bhoon.

Aloo Methi is quick and easy to cook and is a great comfort food. Cooking the slightly bitter Fenugreek Leaves along with the potatoes imparts a distinct flavor to the dish. Methi was cooked very frequently in our kitchen in India during winters. We didn't get methi leaves in any other season, so as soon as winter would commence, methi would become a regular feature on our table. It was added to saag, to methi malai paneer but the most common way mom cooked methi was aloo methi.
