Kadhi (Not Sweet). This is a recipe of Gujarati kadhi also called as white kadhi, it is sweet, savory and simple to make. The recipe does not contain Onion and Garlic so. Kadhi is a delicious North Indian dish, made with the goodness of dahi and besan.

- You need 2 cup of curd.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of Besan.

Sindhi Kadhi often uses okra or eggplant. I think mine is probably a mix of Punjabi and Marathi Kadhi--sort. Gujarati Kadhi is a yogurt based sweet and spicy curry that is simple yet irresistible; it gets the Note: Turmeric powder is optional in Gujarati Khadi. - Take curd, add besan in that. Mix it properly. Add 2 glass of water. Add salt, green chillies and ginger. Let it boil on low flame. It should be thick but not too much..
- Prepare seasoning, add Ghee, once it is hot, add mustard, jeera, dried red chilli, Fenugreek seeds, curry leaves and asfoitida. Add this to Kadhi. Let it boil for another 5 minutes..
- Serve with Rice or Khichdi..
