- Prepare 2 of Green chilles.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
- You need 2 tbsp of Oil.
- You need 1 tbsp of Garlic chopped.
- Prepare of Curry leaves 3-4.
Kadhi is a blend of yogurt and besan (gram flour) with besan pakoras. Kadhi is served with plain white rice. Kadhi pakora or Punjabi kadhi is the perfect vegetarian comfort food from North India. Vegetable fritters (pakoras) are coated in a chickpea flour mix and fried to golden-brown perfection.
Kadhi pakora instructions
- In a blender add yogurt, besan, coconut powder, salt, chicken powder, haldee and green chillies and blend the paste.
- In a pot heat oil and garlic and curry leaves and saute a minute.
- Add the blender yogurt mixture and cook for a minute.
- Now add the water and cook on high flame till bubbles comes.
- After bubbles come, stir the kadhi and slow the flame and cook for 30-35 minutes and keep stirring after every 5 minutes.
- In a mean while make pakoras and keep a side.
- At a time of serving take out the kadhi in a dish add the pakoras and serve with rice.
