Ingredients of Chicken Qeema Aloo

  1. You need 500 gm of Chicken mince (qeema).
  2. You need 1/2 cup of Oil.
  3. It's of Onion 1 sliced.
  4. It's of Potato 2-3 medium, cut in cubes.
  5. It's of Tomato 1 finely chop.
  6. You need 1/2 cup of Curd.
  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Termuric.
  8. You need 2 Tbsp of Red chilli powder.
  9. You need 1 1/2 tsp or to taste of Salt.
  10. It's 2 of Black cardamom.
  11. You need 1 of Bay leaf.
  12. You need 1 piece of Cinnamon stick.
  13. It's Cloves of 2-3.
  14. It's 3-4 of Green cardamom.
  15. It's 1 Tbsp of Ginger paste.
  16. It's 4-5 of Black pepper.
  17. Prepare 1 Tbsp of Garlic.
  18. It's 1/2 tsp of Garam masala powder.
  19. Prepare 3-4 of Green chilli.
  20. Prepare of Coriander 1/2 cup chop.
  21. It's of Ginger julians to garnish.

This is one of the basic chicken mince recipes from Indian cuisine which you can serve as a side in an Indian meal. Since keema is minced (ground) meat, you can choose between beef keema, mutton keema or even chicken keema. It comes down to your preference, and while most people make keema aloo with minced mutton, I like to use beef keema. Chicken keema is a great option too, since its a lean meat, and that also means the cooking time will be a little less too.

Chicken Qeema Aloo step by step

  1. Take oil in a pan. Add finely sliced onion and fry till translucent.add green cardamom, black cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, bay leaf and fry 1-2 min.Add ginger/ garlic paste and fry..
  2. Add finely chop tomatoes, red chilli, salt, termuric and fry with a little water till oil seprates and tomotes get blended well..
  3. Add chicken mince and mix well on medium heat. Add beaten curd and cover the lid.let cook for 10 min on medium heat.it will cook in it's water but if needed add 1/2 cup of water. Add potatoes cut in cubes. Mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat till potatoes are tender.add finely chop coriander and green chillies.keep on dam for about 5-10 minutes. Sprinkle garam masala powder before serving. Garnish with ginger julians. Serve with nasn or paratha..
