Keema dahi vada. Dahi vada is a common North Indian dessert which contains lentils dumplings deep fried and then soaked in a sweet and sour yogurt sauce with a lot of spicy and sweet chutney. 'Doi bora' is our very own dahi vada, which is an important part of Holi special dishes. Vadas soaked in dahi and spices, makes this dish a popular chaat in India. In a layman's language one can say, 'keema doi bora' is a twist to this popular traditional dish. 'Keema doi bora' is fried meatballs in sweet and spiced curd.
Ingredients of Keema dahi vada
- Prepare 200 grams of chicken Keema.
- Prepare 1 cup of dahi / curd.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds.
- It's 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds.
- Prepare 1 of dry red chilli.
- It's 1 teaspoon of black pepper seeds.
- It's 4/5 tbsp of tamarind chutney.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of sev.
- It's 4 tbsp of green chutney.
- You need 1 tablespoon of red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1 tablespoon of cumin powder.
- You need 1 tablespoon of coriander powder.
- You need as per your taste of salt and sugar.
- It's 2/3 tbsp of maida / allpurpose flour.
- Prepare 1 tablespoon of corn flour.
- You need as needed of Oil for frying.
- You need 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
- You need 4 tbsp of onion paste.

Keema dahi vada instructions
- Take a tawa on the oven, add cumin, coriander, fennel seeds, dry red chilli & black pepper seeds then broil it well..
- Next pour it in a mixing grinder & grind it.Now dahi vada masala is ready..
- Take a bowl & put the chicken Keema in it, then add onion, ginger,garlic paste, red chilli, cumin, coriander,garam masala powder, salt,sugar to taste & mix it well..
- Then add maida & corn flour mix well..
- Next from the mixture prepare small round vadas..
- Take a kadai on oven add oil, once oil is hot add vadas, & fry it well..
- Now prepare the dahi...1st take a bowl add dahi, sugar & salt as per your taste, Red chilli, dahi masala powder, black pepper powder & mix well. Now dahi is ready..
- In a serving platter 1st keep the vadas, & top it up with dahi mixture, granish with sweet tamarind chutney, green chutney, sprinkle with some red chilli Powder,dahi vada masala & nylon Sev & serve it..
