Ingredients of Kadhai paneer with garlic naan
- Prepare 250 gm of paneer.
- It's 4-5 of onions.
- It's 4 of tomatoes.
- You need 2 tsp of ginger,garlic and chilli paste.
- It's 1 of chopped capsicum.
- It's 1-2 of bay leaves.
- You need 2 of dry red chilli.
- It's 4 of whole black pepper.
- You need 5 of laung.
- Prepare 1 of cinnamon stick.
- It's 8-10 of cashews.
- It's of For naan.
- Prepare 2 bowl of maida/all purpise flour.
- It's 1/2 cup of curd.
- It's 1/2 of baking soda.
- Prepare 2 tsp of oil.
- Prepare as needed of Water.
- You need 4 tsp of garlic cloves.
- Prepare 3 tsp of kasturi methi.
- You need As needed of butter.
Serve it with naan, phulka or parathas as a side dish for chapati or jeera pulao or peas pulao. If you want kadai paneer gravy, then add a little water and cook for a few more minutes. Garlic naan is my favorite naan. It goes really well with so many punjabi curries.
Kadhai paneer with garlic naan instructions
- Take a kadhai add oil or ghee,,add roughly chopped garlic,ginger,onions and tomatoes and green chilli.and cashews..and saute for 2-3 mins and take out in a mixer jar and grind it and make a smooth paste...
- Now in the same pan,,add chopped capsicum and diced onions and saute for 2 min and take out in a plate..now add paneer cubes saute for 2 min and also take out in a plate.....
- Now In the same pan,,add butter and add jeera,sukhi lal mirch,bay leaf,cinnamon stick,elaichi,kali mitch and laung..now add paste and saute now add onions and capsicum..add paneer..add salt,pepper,,garam masala,amchoor,paneer masala,dhaniya powder,Kashmiri lal mirch for colour..now add 2 cups of water..and cook for 15 min..and serve in a bowl.add fresh cream and cashews over the paneer....
- For naan--take a bowl add maida,curd,salt and oil..add baking soda and by adding water knead a soft dough..and let it rest for 2 hours...now after 2 hours knead the dough again for a min..and take out a ball and roll like a naan..and on one side add (kasturi methi,,dhaniya and kalaunji and half spoon oil)spread on the naan and roll with pin..and made it on tandoor or tawa as u like...
- And now if it's made apply (melted butter with garlic and oregano)..serve hot..and enjoy.
The garlicky flavor of naan compliments the spicy flavor to different Punjabi curries. Cook remaining naan dumplings using above steps.
