Ingredients of My favourite lunch Masala Bhindi & Cucumber Raita
- You need of For masala bhindi.
- You need 500 gm of bhindi(washed and cut into small pieces).
- Prepare 3 of onions (chopped).
- Prepare 2 of tomatoes (chopped).
- You need 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
- It's 1 of green chilli (chopped).
- You need 4 tbsp of oil.
- Prepare 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
- Prepare 1 tsp of amchur powder.
- Prepare 2 tsp of coriander powder.
- You need 1/2 tsb of turmeric powder.
- You need 1 tsp of salt or to taste.
- It's 1/4 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 1/2 tsp of garam masala.
- You need 1 tsp of lemon juice.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of Fresh coriander.
- You need of Ingredients for Raita.
- It's 2 of cucumbers (peeled and grated).
- Prepare 2 cups of fresh curd.
- You need 1/2 tsp of dry pudina leaves.
- It's 1/2 tsp of cumin powder.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of black salt.
- You need 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need of Salt(to taste).
- You need 2 tbsp of Fresh coriander.
- It's of Chaat masala if needed.
Bhindi is a favorite with my kids so I make it very often for the lunch box. It is simple to cook and doesn't need much preparation. Bhindi is one of the most consumed vegetable. Bhindi Masala is a delicious, easy to make vegetable dish.
My favourite lunch Masala Bhindi & Cucumber Raita step by step
- Bhindi preparation—-Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan add the chopped bhindi. Sauté it to in medium flame for 10 minutes..
- Transfer bhindi into a bowl.Now in the same pan add 2 tbsp oil heat it. Add cumin seeds,green chilli, onions one by one. Fry it until onions turn light brown..
- Then add ginger garlic paste cook it for 1 minute.Add tomatoes and salt,cook it for 1-4 minutes..
- Now add all the dry masala(spices)saute it well..
- Now add the fried bhindi, mix & cook it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Add lemon juice,coriander leavesand turn off the flame..
- Masala bhindi is ready.Serve with roti/ chawal/paratha..

- In a bowl whisk the curd.Add all the ingredients..
- Mix well,garnish with coriander leaves and serve..
