  3. Now take a pan and heat oil. Add chopped onion and chopped tomato..
  4. Fry onion and tomato for 3 minutes. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric and salt to taste..
  5. Now add 3 tsp tamarind pulp and cook for 2 minutes. Then add 3 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder and 2 tsp garam masala powder..
  6. Cook for 2 minutes and get the consistency as shown in the picture below..
  7. Now add 3/4 cup of water and allow it to boil..
  8. Then add the fried bhindi and mix well. Cover the pan with the lid and cook for 6-8 minutes..
  9. Bhindi curry/ ladies finger curry is ready to be served..
  10. Serve it with chapathi..
